The SDRC Executive Committee are seeking researchers who are at an early stage in their dementia/ brain health research career to join their quarterly meetings.
The SDRC Executive Committee are aware that those with less dedicated research experience face specific and unique challenges from researchers in a more advanced stage in their career. In order to best support this group, the SDRC Executive Committee would like greater representation at their meetings.
The purpose of these new members is to update the rest of the Executive Committee on early career researcher activity and advise on what the priorities are for early career researchers. This will also include generating ideas for activities and resources that will be most useful them, and being given support to execute these ideas.
While this is not a formal position as an elected SDRC Executive Committee member, this is an opportunity to meet new researchers and for professional development.
